Mandatory training are important as it ensure the safety of people receiving and giving care and to maintain high standards of care quality. Ensuring you are training yearly will engrain the necessary behaviours, attitudes, skills and knowledge to deliver high- quality, safe person-centred care.
We require all workers to provide evidence of these immunisation’s listed below
- Hepatitis B immunity levels, Measles, Mumps & Rubella (MMR) Varicella chickenpox, TB/BCG scar.
As these are required for us to obtain a fitness to work certificate and to protect you and the clients against serious diseases.
To ensure the safety of all our clients, all staff employed by Medicare Health Professionals are required to provide an Enhanced DBS certificate. This checks your police record for any convictions and will show if you are barred from working with certain groups of people.
There is a service called The DBS Update Service which enables you to register your DBS certificate online which means employers can instantly check an existing certificate. If you have a DBS certificate that is registered on The Update Service, this can speed up the recruitment process.
It is a requirement by law.
We require two professional referees, not related to you, who are willing and able to provide up to date references on your qualifications, experience and skills. One of these must be your current or most recent employer.
